Question by Kimberly Bartold: Good websites to buy big rig trucks?
Looking to find websites (similar in style to cars.com) that list big rig semi trucks. I drive as a company driver, but sick and tired of bullsh*t dispatchers. Would like to get my own truck and out from under these morons.
I wouldn’t be asking for places to buy big rigs if I wasn’t willing to incur the costs and pop up BS that happens with owning one. Owner Operators do tend to act like they own the road and drive hazardously, but that simply is not me. I just want to own my own truck so I can do what I please to it, decide my own pay, go where I want and never ever have to deal with another 20 year old dumb f*ck dispatchers, or trucking company that cares more about the bottom dollar, than hiring courteous, professional and skilled drivers and taking care of them as they deserve. I am a good driver, safe, and I care about the customers. This job is a vacation, and the only thing I have found to be actual “work” to me is the 2 minutes it takes to hook or drop and fiddle with landing gear. lol I just hate driving a company’s truck and being at their mercy for which route to take, how fast to go, satallite tracking, idle monitoring, yadda yadda yadda.

Dispatchers are annoying, but owner-operators can be annoying to the general public. The surprise costs that pop up for an owner will turn you off even more than idiot dispatchers.
