My computer seems like it is taking longer to boot than normal. Could there be something wrong with it?

in run command

type msconfig then in the tab menu select Startup uncheck the unused application..

i just install window xp but when i open any window or when i scroll up and down, it runs too slow. i have 2 ram of gb and a dual core processor.

There are many reasons that can make a computer to run slow.
1.Try to scan your computer for virus or spyware.
2.Your computer running too much of process.Try to cut it down using task manager.
3.Your computer is overheat.Try to check your CPU’s temperature.Check the condition of the fan.
4.Run “msconfig” and cut down start up applications.
5.Run disk defragment.

whenever i try to install itunes i get an error message about half way saying “there is a problem with the windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run”

I am trying to install itunes 7.2 on windows XP service pack 2

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

did you download it from apple.com

go to apple.com and download it again.

Why do they seem to be the strongest opposed to social welfare and universal healthcare? I have noticed that the majority of conservatives say they have a strong faith in God and Christianity. So how come they seem to be the most reluctant to help the poor or the less fortunate in this country? I have heard and read comments from conservatives like “I oppose spending my money on helping the poor,” and then say their faithful Christians. Correct me if i’m wrong, but wasn’t Jesus Christ one of the biggest advocates of giving what you had to help the poor? And for that matter, Christianity is largely a contributer to helping out the poor in the world. Do you hardcore Christian Conservatives leave your faith out of politics, because that’s certainly not what politicians do. I never understood this.

This is not meant to be hateful or generalizing in any way, i just don’t understand how those who follow the Christian faith can be so against things like welfare, social security, Medicare, and now health care for all Americans, when these are exactly what the Bible and Christianity advocates, obviously not in these current forms. It seems like those who think this way have less faith and understanding in their religion than i do, and im a freaking Atheist.

This info is for windows 2000. But the directory service is basically the same.

I found some coupons for sale online. They are Starbucks free drink coupons. Each coupon is good for 1 free drink of any size with as many extras as you want to add. The coupons are printed with “We apologize if your Starbucks experience was anything but wonderful. We want to know how
we can make things better and always invite you to share your thoughts with us. The next time we see you, please enjoy a beverage, on us. We hope your next visit is better.” I sent the seller an email asking him or her where they got them and they said “Starbucks”, but I asked my local Starbucks said the coupons might be fake. I know that Starbuck direct stores will take the coupons, but not the independent ones in Barnes & Nobles, Target, hotels, airports, etc.. If I buy these coupons, will Starbucks direct stores accept them? Will they think I am using fraudulant coupons if they see me using the coupons everyday? Will they be obligated to honor them or can they tell me that they think they are fake?

Long Beach Focker, i just told the seller what you said and they said that the coupons are real. They also said it must take a real moron to work at a coffee shop for 3 years.

They do give those away at the stores, I’ve gotten them a few times before when they messed up my drink.
