Sierra Trading Post Announces Share Your Adventure Video Contest

In its biggest giveaway yet, multichannel retailer Sierra Trading Post announces the Share Your Adventure Video Contest, with prizes totaling $ 11,500. Three initial rounds of videos will be judged, each with first, second and third prize winners, with a final fourth round to be judged by the public for a chance at the grand prize. Entries will be accepted beginning November 8, 2010.

Modeled after Sierra Trading Post’s weekly Share Your Adventure Photo Contest, The Share Your Adventure Video Contest encourages Sierra Trading Post fans and customers to take their creativity from a still life photo to real life video. “We’ve seen how much our community enjoys the adventure photos that people have shared,” says Social Media Manager Juliette Rule. “With this new contest, we’re hoping to see even more awe-inspiring evidence of the active lifestyles of this tremendous community, and even get people to dream up some new adventures of their own.”

Each of the contest’s initial three rounds awards first, second and third prize winners with Sierra Trading Post’s eDeals gift cards at $ 1,500, $ 1,000 and $ 500. Each of the first, second and third prize winners will be automatically entered into a final round, with a $ 2,500 eDeals gift card grand prize. The grand prize winner will be determined by the amount of fan votes on Sierra Trading Post’s blog.
